I think that saving money it´s an important thing because the price of stuff  its very high and we have to save money to  be capable of having all the things we need in the month.

 I think that compulsive spenders are a common kind of people, because in our country we are continuously exposed to publicity, and we are socially pressed to buy many kind of things to fulfill our empty needs for material stuff. I think that the existence of compulsive spenders is a bad thing to our world because they buy things that they don’t need, they change every year their stuff for the new model, creating a big waste of material that degrades our environment. 

Actually in the dental profession we have many troubles to face including the high prices in the treatments to our patients and materials we have to buy, in difference to other professions, we have to buy huge quantity of materials and instruments, and continuously buy all kind of supplies. In Chile, the dental care is expensive and almost a luxury to the common people, the government doesn’t finance it through FONASA like in the medical practice.

Hello! Today I’m going to talk about summer plans.

In the summer I like to travel south of Chile, know the beautiful landscapes that the country and of course know different cultures.

I would like to go to the tower of Paine, because many people have told me it is a beautiful and very relaxing. I love nature and I think the south of our country has everything you need to escape the stress of the city. On the other hand I also would like to go to places where they can do extreme sports like rafting or canopy. I think that perform this type of activity is liberating and exciting.

In the holidays I also like to go to see my family. They live in the region octave exactly in the city of “Nacimiento”.  I love going there because I entertain a lot with my cousins, ride to horse, go to the river and walking at night. My uncle has many racehorses, which are beautiful. I like to accompany him to give food and water to the horses.

Another place I like is the beach. Every summer going to the beach a few days, either "Viña del Mar" or "Reñaca". Usually I tend to take lots of sun because I like to be very tanned, and I do not like to get much water because it is very cold the seawater.

Finally I would like to say that I also would  like to travel abroad but I think I should first know the wonderful places in my country and then to travel around the world.

The most difficult skill for me is the listenning.

The listenning has been always very difficult for me, because is very hardly for me to understand the pronunciation. It's very different to hear something in English more than writing. Most of the time only understand half of what I heard and very badly. 

The easiest thing for me is to write in english because I think very well what I say and if I do not know a word, I look at the internet.

My friends

Hi guys, today I’m  going to talk about my friends. I have friends from the school and friends from the university.

Now I’m going to talk about my friends from the school. Their names are Camilo and Nicole and they have been my friends for at least 10 years.  With them I have shared beautiful moments of my life. Nicole was my classmate the school in “Liceo Nº 1 Javiera Carrera” and we are best friends since I met her.

I met her in the in primary school and she is a very important person for me, because we grown up together and she was like my sister.

My friend Camilo was in “Liceo Manuel Barros Borgoño” and I met him because he was friend of a friend and we

lived near. He is 23 years old now and I go to his home frequently. He is very supportive with me and I can always count on him.

 

I don’t see Nicole too often, because she live far of me and she is busy studying like me. She studies engineering and it is a very difficult career and because of that she doesn’t have time for me.  I see camilo and nicole together at least once a month but is very hard coordinate our time. They are very important in my life and I hope that our friendship will last forever .

The first activity did not seem so complicated, in fact I found it quite entertaining and I had only problems with some words, but the context helped me to understand. In the second activity I had more difficulty understanding and answering questions, and I found it a little confusing and I was wrong on several questions.

The place I would like to visit is Machu Picchu. One reason why I would like to visit it is because is a historical place where the Incas lived. Another reason is because it has a beautiful landscape and serves to relax and breathe fresh air. However I would travel to many places in the world.

English is very important for me,  as to work and to study . In university is very useful to read scientific papers as the last evidence. I also find it a useful tool to work because I can have as dentistry  a foreign patients and I should be able to understand them.

My future job

Hello Friends, today I’m going to talk about my future job.

Well, in this moment I’m studing dentistry and I hope one day to become as great a dentist. I like the dentistry and I would like to be dentist because I want to help the ill people.  I would like to work outdoor but if you are a dentist, you are forced  to work  indoor. I want to work in a public service’s hospital and to have a private consult.

 In the future I would like to specialize in maxillofacial surgery, I think that It is the better specialty because you can greatly help people with craniofacial syndromes and disorders and you need to be a competent professional. There are very few Maxillofacial surgeons and is very difficult to enter the specialty because you need to have good grades and do work to gather points and there are many people competing to enter.

I would like to travel and to study abroad, specifically in Spain because the medicine is very advanced.

If I become a surgeon I would like to work in public service because I can help those most in need. I don´t want earn big money, I want to work by vocation.

Let's talk about series!!

Hello friends, today I’m going to talk about My favorite series.  I like comedies and one them is named “Malcolm in the middle”. It’s an American which started at 2000 and tells the story of a dysfunctional american middle class family.  Every chapter has a different story about the daily  life of a family of four children and their special parents.  The main character is Malcolm, who tells the story. He is a fourteen years old teenager, and also a “genius” with a higher IQ and courses at a special advanced class at his school.  Malcolm has a dysfunctional family and everything revolves around the troubles in his family,  because he has problematic brothers,  a very authoritative mother and a slovenly father.

Another series I like is “Scrubs”. It is also an American one, and It is about the personal and professional life of young interns doctors and his life in hospital. The protagonist is Dr.John Dorian or “J.D” and he tells about his life as a beginner doctor. I like Malcolm and scrubs because they have short episodes,  make you laugh a lot, and keep you always entertaining, The humor is very sarcastic humor, and I find many characters interesting.
